ILOG Launches Industry-First ILOG Diagrammer for .NET

First Diagram Display Graphics Toolkit with Multiple Deployment Options and Ajax Support

PARIS and SUNNYVALE, Calif. – July 10, 2006 – ILOG® (NASDAQ: ILOG; Euronext; ILO, ISIN: FR0004042364) today announced the availability of ILOG Diagrammer for .NET, the industry's first graphics toolkit for creating sophisticated and visually-rich diagrams for the .NET platform. With ILOG Diagrammer for .NET, developers can quickly and easily configure and integrate sophisticated diagram and dashboard displays into their Windows Forms (desktop) and Web Forms applications – making it the first offering to cover multiple deployment options in a single product. It is also the first .NET diagramming product to support the easy creation of Web interfaces using ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX controls recently introduced by Microsoft.

ILOG Diagrammer for .NET is ideally suited to represent diagram and dashboard displays, which include networks, processes, flows, organization charts, and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, as well as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), process control, and executive cockpit dashboard displays. It was designed from the ground up for the .NET platform. Because it is tightly integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005™, developers do not have to leave their familiar development environment to generate code, and can access the dedicated designers, toolboxes and wizards, and the on-line documentation in the new product without having to learn another tool or language.

In the meantime, the new industry-first ASP.NET Ajax technology support includes a list of controls to visualize and edit diagrams in Web applications, and to manage smooth refreshes when zooming, panning or interacting with the user interface.

They are shipped with documented source code and are designed to be customized and extended for delivery to end users.
